Hooked on "Hooked"

Lynne and Dave Anderson invited us out for a day of cruising on "Hooked", their 32 ft. sport fishing boat.  Lynne described the group as the "Virginia/Colorado/San Carlos Connection"-we all had lived in those three places.  Libby Kyer virtually introduced us to Lynne and Dave, who live right down the street from us.  Lynne has taken art classes with Libby in Denver.

"Hooked" at her dock at Marina Vista, right outside the Anderson home.

The most popular guest, Boo, really seemed to enjoy
watching the water.  He now seems quite at home on a boat.

Cynthia and Bill (from Silverton), Lynne (from Frasier),
Jayne(from Denver) and guess who?

My handsome men

Again, my pictures don't do this justice, but our boat played
with the dolphins, as adults and babies surrounded us and
swam in our wake.

This was a whole flock of loons all just sitting on the water together.
The sea was just full of all kinds of wildlife today.

The skies were cloudy and the waters were unbelievably calm as we
cruised down San Francisco Bay to the Estero and on to Miramar and
the coast of Guaymas.

We saw several small fishermen who Daniel said were
fishing for some kind of fish they use in ceviche.

The square white house is the "party" house for the mayor of Guaymas

One nice thing about a cloudy day is it often foretells a gorgeous sunset.  These were all taken from our deck.
