| Loving the surf, looking for gulls |
We can't tell who's the happiest
at the beach-Boo, Jim or I. Boo can be left free to roam the beach unless other dogs come by, which is rare. Most of the time, he is running down the beach, barking at the waves, chasing pelicans and gulls and sometimes just enjoying the surf.

| He thinks he may even catch that gull |
 |
| Jim watching the Hattie Annie looking for dolphins. Of course, we had been seeing them about 50 yards offshore for hours! Lucky us! |
 |
| This is Hattie Annie, the boat we took with Janet and Tony, Rachelle and Gary. |
 |
| You can tell they've spotted the dolphins by the gulls in hot pursuit. |
 |
| We finally found the perfect umbrella at Sam's Club in Guaymas. Yay! |
Spanish class created a bond with two couples: one from Canada, the other from California. Pat and Barb are classmates of Jim's. Pat and Larry asked us all up for cocktails and we got to experience their beautiful neighborhood, Marina Vista. The houses there all sit on the hill overlooking another marina and the Algodones Beach area.

| View from their balcony. That's a condo complex on the hill. |

That's Barb and Michael and Pat and Larry. Boo was invited to join
and had a great time playing with their two dogs. Larry makes a mean pina colada. |
Lynne Anderson introduced me to her pastel class the next morning. Embarrassing though it is, this is my first creation. It still needs alot of work but I don't have all the supplies I need. I really fell in love with the subject, however. The teacher, a lovely lady named Carmen, was very sweet and understanding of my lack of creative talent-she looked a little like this lady. You can at least tell it is a Spanish woman--of that I was thankful!
