Fun with the Zolas and Zoias

Rachelle and Gary Zola, who are responsible for helping us to get inspired to get down here and to get a place to rent and to introduce us to all their friends, invited the four of us up for cocktails at their house on the Caracol peninsula and to enjoy a spectacular sunset.  We then went out to dinner at El Bronco for fabulous steaks and some dancing.

Rachelle and Gary's deck-check out that view!

Their view!  That's the beach club in the tiny cove where
Susan and David snorkeled today.  They got stung by some
microscopic jellyfish that are activated by the seaweed as the
waters warm.  It is already much warmer here.

We watched the sunset from their front yard.  That's the
Bahia down below and the Sea of Cortez out beyond.

The Tetakawis in the twilight

Is this magnificent or what?  We couldn't stop ooing and ahing
or taking pictures.

Looks unreal, doesn't it?

Rachelle and I

The Bahia and the sky and the sea look like they are on fire!

Dancing with the mariachis

We really livened up the place-only one other couple was there.

Jim and I dancing to Sabor A Mi.

The mariachis-the two guys on either side are twins.
