The Mask of Zorro and Dancing

The "Days of Janet and Tony" are over, sadly, and we are missing them a lot.  It was great fun having so much time together and so very little that we HAD to do.  It is strange thinking that we don't know when or where we will meet up the next time, now that we are officially vagabonds.  They promise to fly in and meet us "on the road".  In the meantime, we tried to have a little fun on our own again.

That night we decided to watch "The Mask of Zorro", which was filmed on the Piedra Pinta Playa, now called, Zorro Beach.   The following day we opted to go to that beach again and had a delightful morning there.

We went out dancing and dining with Cheryl Howell and Bill Thompson, our neighbors upstairs.  It was Cheryl's 57th birthday-one of the younger people around here.  Cheryl and Bill are from Alberta, Canada, as are most of the people here in the condo.  We met them at the border and have kept in touch since.

The most ironic thing happened that night.  We were holding down a table for the birthday crowd and they were all pretty late, so the people at the table next to us asked us to join their table, which we did.  We struck up a great conversation.  It turns out, they all live in Woods Hole, MA, where we spent a week this past summer.  We will have to check with our friend, Steve Hollis, to see if he knows them (Mikey and Kathy and Paul and Rosie).  Small world!  We hadn't met a soul from east of Denver until then.  Wish I had pictures!  The evening ended (early-as always) with all of us dancing together!
