What can you say about Lake Louise? It is a World Heritage Site and one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World-(Modern World, I'm guessing). It does not disappoint! We celebrated our 70th birthdays together with a special brunch at the Fairmont, overlooking the Lake. (PS--I'm the youngest-I don't celebrate mine til August 3rd). The pictures speak for themselves.
We decided to rent canoes. I was a little worried since the first time I was ever in a canoe, I got in and tipped it over in the chocolate brown Conestoga River, Lancaster, PA (and the water temperature here is 38 degrees!). We owned a canoe for awhile but I never was very comfortable because it was so "tippy". And, this time, we had Boozie with us. But, I was really glad we did this. It was so much fun, despite our being a little nervous about Boo.

Most of the time, he was content to nap under our feet. But often, he wandered around, put his feet on the side of the boat and barked. We thought he wouldn't jump in, but one never knows. He is a crazy man around water. God knows what he is thinking! Jim was the one with the camera today. |

David and Susan with a glacier for scenery! They have some pictures of us, which I will post when I get them. |
Lake Louise is so incredible...looks just like it did in the fifties!
