Mexico, Week One

We are still getting settled but managing to explore, relax and enjoy in the meantime.  It seems like our location is ideal-at the bay, where we can see the fishing boats come and go, listen to the pelicans announce their arrival and see both the sun rise and the sun set.

What a way to wake up!

To our left is the marina with many gorgeous boats, the yacht club and nice restaurants.

Boo was welcome for brunch.

Beyond that is the "strip" which passes for a town--shops, banks, restaurants and bars with several beach fronts.  San Francisco beach is further down where you can see dolphins.

San Francisco Beach

Beyond that is the road to Hermosillo to the north and Guaymas to the south.

The beer can tree where we buy fresh fish

Boo loves walking down here and scaring the pelicans.

On our right are the Tetakawis, several nice bayfront homes and a little beach at the end of the cove.

Beyond that is another beautiful beach, homes and a few hotels with 3 great little restaurants on the beach.  We had a nice shrimp dinner here last night where there used to be a Club Med and Boo cavorted in the waves.  Totally amazing that we seem to have all of this to ourselves.  Not sure if it will look different on the weekend.
